Two-Step aka dual factor authentication coming to Workday
To better protect Cornell staff against fraud, financial loss, and identity theft, on April 20, 2017, the university will begin requiring Two-Step Login (aka dual factor authentication) for access to the following parts of the Workday HR system:
- Tax forms
- Direct deposit changes
- Address changes
- Dependent changes
- I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification Form
Protect your finances and information by signing up for Two-Step Login as soon as possible:
For added security, you may optionally choose to expand Two-Step Login to most Cornell services that require your NetID and password. See it.cornell.edu/twostep/expand for more information.
Clinic and Support in Chemistry
Chemistry IT will be hosting a clinic in the faculty lounge (125A Baker) on Thursday, April 6th from 2:00pm to 3:00pm to assist the Chemistry community with any questions or assistance anyone may need to get Two-Step setup.
As always, the entire Chemistry community is invited to stop by our office in 250 Baker Lab Monday-Friday from 9am to 5pm for assistance with Two-Step or any other IT concern they may have.
