As ChemIT, our IT group serves faculty, staff, and graduate students on:

  • Department computers (Windows, Macintosh, Linux; about 1,000 systems)
  • Department printing -toner & ink supplies
  • Group computing-Servers, Research clusters, Instrumentation and Group computers
  • Networking, Phones
  • Local User Accounts, access authorization
  • Software-Advice, Purchase, Installation, Licensing, Troubleshooting
  • Domain name management

PhysIT

As PhysIT, our IT group serves instructors and staff on:

  • Department computers (Windows and Macintosh)
  • Instrumentation and Instruction computers (consultation services)
  • Networking
  • Local User Accounts, access authorization
  • Software-Advice, Purchase, Installation, Licensing, Troubleshooting
  • IT Security, Antivirus, Malware remediation
