Chemistry IT and CISER Collaborate to Serve Scientists’ Complex Computing Needs
An ongoing collaboration between chemistry researchers, their local IT manager, and CISER (Cornell Institute for Social and Economic Research) exemplifies how IT collaboration can fuel award-winning research. June 2014 – myCornell Being Retired
At the end of June, 2014, my.Cornell.edu will be retired, due to an imbalance between low usage and overall support costs. Over the past few months, we have been coordinating with myCornell representatives (owners of each tab) to move content to other websites, most of which users are already familiar with. Remedy Switching to High-availability Config. Jan. 19
On Sunday, January 19, Remedy On Demand is being switched to a high-availability server configuration to increase service resiliency. This setup will reduce or eliminate Remedy downtime because of software or hardware failure. The configuration work is taking place from 12 midnight through 5 am on January 19, and Remedy will be unavailable during this period.
Reminder: Cornell’s Cmail (Student Email) Login Page is Changing
Google is planning on changing the login page for Cmail on Monday. After the change, the page will look like Google’s other login pages, and it will be necessary to use netid@cornell.edu to log in. Previously, login has been done with just the NetID.
